“Wonderful Property.”

We stayed at Mornington for two weeks. The property was very well maintained and just perfect for two families with children. We had everything we needed in the house and appreciated that any query or request was very promptly responded to by Tim and Wendy. We loved Kewarra beach and the laid-back atmosphere of the suburb (much better for us than some of the more 'popular' beaches). It was also well located for accessing many of the tourist activities in and around Cairns. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Cairns

This was a perfectly delightful holiday home for our extended family. We had 3 generations stay here for 10 nights and the location and layout were just ideal for our needs. The home was presented in an immaculate condition and the facilities such as 3 distinct dining areas and the newer BBQ worked a treat. The well-cared pool was a real hit with our two pre-teen granddaughters. Tim & Wendy were very attentive to our needs but not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend this home to all prospective family holidaymakers.

We wanted to let Tim & Wendy know how much we enjoyed our stay - the house was well equipped & spotless and only a stone's throw from the fabulous beach but what made our holiday was the attention we received from our hosts. They helped us book our trip to the reef ( a must for any visitor to the area) & even changed the day for us as the weather looked a bit rough the day we were due to go! They welcomed us with fresh flowers & nibbles & were on hand to give advice whenever we needed it & even arranged & collected.a wheelchair for my sister-in-law to use during her stay for us. The birthday present for our son was a lovely unexpected surprise too - he was 'bowled over'. To all you holiday makers who are looking for a lovely place to stay - you won't regret choosing this one ! We will be back !

The house was actually better than described.it was very clean,spacious,well equipped and in a great location.the owners, tim and wendy were brilliant.they helped with trip advice and were always available if any problems occured.the fridge packed up on the second day and within 2 hours of reporting it tim turned up with a new one and a case of cold beers to keep us going.when we left we told them we would be back 1 day and we definitely will,the place is paradise.

“Lovely accomodation with pool and only 25 mintues from Cains”

Comfortable & well equipped property (airconditioning & BBQ). The children loved the pool. The owners lived next door and came to greet us on our arrival. They were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Not far from the beach and with a 25 minute drive to cairns for trips to barrier reef, 15 mintutes to the skyrail and Daintree an hours drive. We had a wonderful week there. Would high recommend the property

One of the best houses we have ever stayed in, in fact the youngest said 'it was the best as the pool was amazing' The boys loved the pool & spent so much time in it they never even thought about TV. Great to sit out, with a BBQ and glass of wine and relax after a day sightseeing.
Excellent house comfortable, spacious & well situated Would definitely recommend to friends and love to go there again. Thanks Tim & Wendy, lovely hosts, lovely house

“Fantastic”

We booked Mornington having looked at the villa on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed - the property had everything you could want and more. Tim and Wendy live next door so are on hand if anything goes wrong or to offer advice and help. They recommended some trips which we thoroughly enjoyed. I had problems sorting out our travel insurance and Tim let me use his Skype connection to try and resolve the issue.

We really enjoyed our time at Mornington - the location is excellent either for the beach or for doing some sight seeing - only wish we could have had longer.

Thank you so much Tim and Wendy for making our stay so enjoyable - you never know we will hopefully be back in the future.

“Beautiful holiday home”

My family and friends had a wonderful holiday, Mornington is a lovely clean and tidy holiday renal and the pool was a big hit with our 3 children. The home is very well presented and is in the perfect location to visit all the sights Cairns has to offer, Tim and Wendy (the owners) live next door and were very welcoming and helpful both before our trip and during. The house is well set up with everything that we needed and the beds were nice and comfy. Local shops are just a short drive away and the beautiful Kewarra beach is just 5 mins down the road. My boys are already asking when we can go back :) thank you for a wonderful holiday.

I loved this house, perfectly located for sightseeing and Tim and Wendy were a fantastic help with anything we needed to know and they really make sure that you enjoy your stay. Champagne and fresh flowers on arrival...what better way to start a holiday and even got us a discount off our trip to the reef! It was a gem to find this house, spotlessly clean and the pool was great as the temp was in the high 30's when we stayed there. I would recommend this lovely house to everyone who likes a home from home.

We had a fabulous time at Kewarra Beach and Mornington was a lovely house to stay in. Its location was perfect for us and the house itself was beautifully kept and had a very high level of cleanliness through out. The big bonus was that the owners live next door and were great as tour guides and ever ready with helpfull tips. Highly recommended.

“Perfect place for your Queensland holiday!”

Mornington was simply amazing. We were there on our own, the two of us, for a couple of days and then were joined by family, and the location was absolutely prime. We spent three days diving from Port Douglas, an easy drive up an absolutely beautiful road. We spent a couple of days in Cairns, another easy drive the other way. We went inland to Kuranda and had a great time there as well. Mornington's location is perfect for any touring to be done in this area.

The house itself is terrific too, the pool was such a welcome asset after a long day at the Croc farm, or wandering through Kuranda. We were in it at least twice a day. The beds were extremely comfortable.
But what makes Mornington special is the hosts - Wendy and Tim are like old friends you've just met. Ask any question about touring, or about the area - they will know the answer.

One thing - make certain the email address is permitted on your email, as if you're waiting for a response it may well have hit your spam folder. It happened to us till I marked it as permitted on my email.

Fantastic holiday was had here, Tim & Wendy were great hosts. The house was just perfect, large bedrooms, stunning outdoor area. So close to beach. We had a great time here and hope to be back in the future.

This was an excellent choice for our family vacation of 4 adults & 4 kids! Clean, roomy, furnished nicely, with a super pool! Great neighborhood, with easy beach access! Tim & Wendy thought of everything, down to coffee and pool toys. Superb time!

We had a fantastic holiday. The house was so clean and had everything we could have needed. The location is perfect - so quiet (except for the birds!), close to a beautiful beach, and easy drive to Cairns or to Port Douglas. The children are now saving their pocket money so we can have a swimming pool like yours. I would love to come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Mornington. Tim & Wendy were very helpful & friendly. They both went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable over the Christmas/New Year period. We had 4 adults plus 4 kids with ample space & comfort. The pool was exellent & the house was in a quiet area, located centrally to both Cairns & Port Douglas. We highly recommend this home for all families...

We absolutely loved the house. Clean & tidy. There was 8 of us in the house (6 adults, 2 children), The pool was a great treat for the kids. We attended a wedding at the local resort and this was very close. We stayed for 8 days. Would highly recommend and would consider staying again if coming to Cairns.

We had a fantastic time, the house was large and spacious, very clean, had all the mod cons, entertaining area was excellent, was close to everything including the beach. We spent 9 days at this house, and would recommend it to everyone. Value for money was our top priority.

We were very happy with our stay at the Mornington. The house was very clean & the bottle of champagne was a very nice touch.It is in a quiet area. the only problem was the taps in the 2nd bathroom were very hard to turn,we had 2 eldery people staying with us but they were hard for me as well.

Lovely , quiet ,clean house. Perfect for 2 families with total 4 kids or for large family. Lovely Pool and near Kewarra Beach great for kids, surfing and swimming. Special thanks to the Owners (Tim & Wendy) for great hospitality. Our recommendation is to Stay here and make day/evening -trips to Port Douglas, Cairns, Kurrada etc.

Lovely,quiet,clean house.Could easily sleep 10 with outdoor and indoor space to spread out whilst relaxing.Pool refreshing and a short walk to the beautiful Kewarra Beach and cafe.Owners thought of everything-we'll be back for sure.
